Jessica Simpson has angrily denied reports she got cozy with disgraced golfer Tiger Woods. In its latest issue, Star magazine claims the golfer — who has allegedly cheated on is wife with a string of different women — had a sizzling meeting with Simpson just days before her split with Tony Romo. The pair were said to have crossed paths at the AT&T National Pro-Am golf tournament in Bethesda, Md.
“Tiger liked what he saw and let her know it,” a source said.
“Jessica said that she felt like Tony wasn’t paying attention to her, so she was like, ‘What the heck!’
“She decided to have fun with Tiger whether it bothered Tony or not.”
But Simpson’s rep has spoken out to set the record straight.
“This story is so fabricated, it’s disgusting,” the spokesperson said.

A report that Jessica Simpson and Tiger Woods once flirted is a complete lie, the singer says.
“Can’t believe that I’m on the cover of star magazine with Tiger Woods, what a JOKE! ‘The Shocking Inside Story’ is (insert drumroll) A LIE!” Simpson, 29, Tweeted Wednesday.
According to the Star magazine report, the two exchanged e-mails and phone numbers after clicking at the AT&T National Pro-Am golf tournament in Bethesda, Md., in July. Woods had been partnered with Tony Romo, who split with Simpson later that month.
Kenny Chesney has shot down similar rumors of a flirtation with Simpson that supposedly happened around the same time.

She’s blond, busty and has a penchant for talking to the media. Yep, Jessica Simpson certainly meets all the criteria for initiation into Tiger Woods’ rapidly expanding harem.
But don’t let that—or Star’s rather shameless attempt to link the singer to the Biggest Scandal of the Year—fool you: Papa Joe didn’t raise a hussy.
Simpson’s camp is shooting down the tabloid’s latest cover claims, alleging that a much-photographed encounter between the stars at the AT&T National Pro-Am golf tournament last July (at which time Simpson was still coupled with Tony Romo, who was both literally and figuratively cropped out of the Star story) resulted in the stars swapping phone numbers and email addresses…and maybe more.
“Tiger liked what he saw and let her know it,” a dubious source is quoted as saying in the magazine.
Simpson’s rep, however, calls the whole scenario “ridiculous.”
“Literally the only thing that’s true in the story is the fact that they met,” the publicist tells E! News. “It was a quick meeting, and they posed for a photo together—that was it. Jessica’s lawyer is sending them a letter this afternoon.”
And it won’t be wishing them a merry Christmas.
